How to prepare
- Let hair grow to about a quarter inch. For many clients that means two to three weeks without shaving.
- Exfoliate gently one or two days before your appointment, not the same day.
- Avoid tanning or strong sun on the area.
- Wear loose, breathable clothing.
- Tell Gloria about sensitivity, skin treatments, medications or previous reactions.
Aftercare
- For 24 hours, avoid intense exercise, swimming, heavy sweating, hot baths, saunas and steam.
- Start gentle exfoliation after two or three days if Gloria recommends it.
- Use a mild, fragrance-free moisturizer.
- Avoid shaving between waxing appointments.
